Akronic P.C. is hiring: RFIC Design Engineer, Senior

Description:

Akronic is offering design services for RF/mmW communication and radar transceiver radios. We are actively seeking talented RFIC design engineers with leadership skills that can develop RF technology from concept to full production silicon. Candidate will be responsible for the design of wireless radios and radio building blocks in various latest node CMOS and BiCMOS technologies. The position requires design skills of RFIC blocks such as LNAs, PAs, Mixers, VGAs, VCOs, Synthesizers, IF and baseband filters, AGC, and deep knowledge of transistor modeling and electromagnetic simulations.

Qualifications:

MSc degree or higher in Electrical Engineering with 10+ years of experience in analog and/or RFIC design

Strong knowledge of engineering fundamentals

Excellent theoretical background in analog circuits operation

Solid experience in microelectronic circuits design in CMOS and BiCMOS

Advanced knowledge of MOS & Bipolar device modeling

Strong knowledge of high-frequency layout, floor-planning, packaging and top-level chip integration

Advanced knowledge of electromagnetic theory and electromagnetic simulations

Proficiency in layout, layout verification, and parasitic extraction in nano-scale technologies

Excellent skills in EDA design tool usage, e.g. Cadence, ADS, Momentum etc.

Fluent in English
