Phosprint Private Company received one of two prizes, among 24 proposals, awarded in the 3rd Round of Patras Science Park’s Proof of Concept (PoC) Program and will be funded with almost €50,000.

PhosPrint P.C. is a laser bio-printer development company that was founded in 2019 as a spin- off of the National Technical University of Athens based in the Lefkippos Attica Technology Park of NCSR “D”. The Company’s product is a laser printer for high spatial resolution printing of cells, biomolecules and drugs. The printer is unique as the first portable laser bio printer and is at the pre-industrial prototype level (TRL 6). Two development opportunities are the production of 3D printing products and the licensing of technology to bio-agents and cells.
